Plaza de la Constitución
::: Constitution Square :::
Constitution Square
It is located downtown next to Huancayo's Cathedral. Its name was given to
remember the proclamation of Cadiz' Constitution, that was in 1812.
In this square you can see and enjoy ornamental native plants. You can also see
the monument of the Marshal Don Ramón Castilla, who declared the abolition of
slavery in Huancayo taking place this action on December 3rd, in 1854.
At nights you could enjoy listening to typical music. Some nights musical
groups and/or actors groups perform interesting shows, but anyway you could
find always here a friendly and comfortable place.
